About Me
Kiki Leung
I am Kiki, the founder of this website. I graduated from the University of East Anglia (UEA) in the UK this year. During my time at university, I was an active member of the Murder Mystery Social, a passion I inherited and carried forward from my father.
I still remember in my second year, one society event left a deep impression on me. We played a board game style detective case with no monologues, only evidence and character files. I was instantly fascinated by this format, as it made me feel as if I were truly part of a real investigation.
While my father’s scripts were brilliant, they were tied to the experience store format, requiring four players and one narrator at least. I began imagining something different: a case driven entirely by evidence and documents, where players could step into the role of a detective and immerse themselves in the story. More importantly, this format eliminates monologues and allows players to play cases individually. Eliminating the need to visit a physical store is the foundation for opening an online store and selling globally.

Recreation & Preparation
In March of this year, after submitting my final thesis, my father and I began preparing for this new venture. We had 72 original murder mystery scripts, but transforming them into immersive cases centered on documents and evidence was no easy task. Every detail required careful planning and design. After five months of relentless effort, with each case undergoing at least six rounds of revisions, we finally launched our first three cases: The Shadow Above, The Expired Criminal, and Death of the Billionaire.

Our Vision
Unlike other online shop owners, our primary pursuit is not profit or order volume. Each script and case is an original work by my father, whose lifelong passion for mystery and detective stories means more than life itself. Recognition from players is what he values most, which is why we devote our full energy to meticulously crafting every single case.
Finally, I hope this website can connect my father with like-minded enthusiasts around the world. If you need to contact Ethan, here is his Jailed Raven email: author@jailedraven.com
